Homemade almond milk is more nutritious than what you would buy in the store, it tastes better, and it’s really simple to make.

Plain Unsweetened Almond Milk

Ingredients
2 cups raw almonds, soaked (using purified water) for 4 hours, rinsed, and drained
6 cups purified water
pinch of sea salt

Preparation
Blend the purified water and soaked nuts in a high speed blender like a Vitamix for about 60 seconds until well blended and smooth. Blend longer if using a low speed blender. Strain the blended nut mixture by squeezing it through a nut milk bag into a large bowl. Transfer to an airtight container like a large mason jar and store in the refrigerator. Homemade Almond Milk will keep for 4-6 days.
